Privacy Policy for Label Designer

About this policy

This policy describes the data handling in the current Android version of Label Designer, provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com.

Data accessed and stored

Label Designer processes the content you add to your labels, including text, images you select, and text or URLs used to create QR codes and barcodes. This content may contain personal information if you choose to include it.

The app stores editable projects, the current draft, project names, modification dates, layout details, and creation settings on your device. Settings include measurement units, label dimensions, background color, and export resolution. Project identifiers are generated locally to distinguish designs.

When you import an image, Android’s file picker lets you choose a file. The app reads that selected file and copies it into its private storage for use in your designs. It does not request broad access to your photo library, contacts, location, microphone, or camera.

Purposes of processing

The app uses this information to display and edit labels, generate QR codes and barcodes, save and reopen projects, resume your draft, remember settings, and produce PNG exports. QR codes and barcodes are generated on your device. Entering a URL into a QR code does not cause the app to visit that URL.

Collection and network activity

No account is required. The inspected application does not implement developer-operated uploads, remote project storage, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash reporting. Your label content is processed locally rather than collected by the developer through the app.

The Android application declares internet permission, but the inspected label-design features do not use it to transmit your designs or usage information. Image import and export may involve a cloud document provider if you select one through Android’s file picker.

Sharing and third-party components

When you export a PNG, you choose its destination through Android’s file picker. That destination may be device storage or a third-party storage provider. When you select Save and share PNG, the app first saves the image and then opens Android’s sharing interface. The app you choose receives access to the exported image, including any personal information visible in it. That app or storage provider handles the file under its own privacy practices.

The app uses Android and Jetpack Compose components and the ZXing Core library. ZXing generates QR codes and barcodes locally; the inspected implementation does not send their contents to a barcode service. No advertising or analytics SDK was identified in the inspected dependencies.

Android backup

The app enables Android backup. Depending on your device, system settings, and backup service, Android may back up and restore app data. Such backups are managed by the operating system and backup provider rather than by a server operated by the app developer.

Security

Projects and settings are stored in Android’s private app storage, and imported images are copied into that storage. Sharing an exported image uses Android’s temporary read-access permission for the chosen file. Import and export failures may produce local Android diagnostic logs; no remote log reporting was identified.

The inspected app does not implement additional app-level encryption for stored projects or images. No developer-operated data transmission was identified, so encryption in transit for such a service cannot be described. Transfers performed by selected storage, sharing, or backup providers depend on those providers. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Retention and deletion

Saved projects, the current draft, settings, and imported image copies remain in app storage until they are removed or that storage is cleared. The app does not implement automatic expiration of this data.

You can delete a saved project from the Projects screen. This removes its saved project entry, but does not automatically remove an existing current-draft copy, imported image files, or exported PNGs. Imported image copies are not automatically deleted when an image object or saved project is removed.

To remove all local app data, use Android’s option to clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Exported files remain in the destination you selected and must be deleted separately. Copies shared with other apps and system backups must be managed through the relevant app, provider, or device settings; restored backups may restore app data.

You can send privacy or deletion requests to mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The developer cannot directly erase designs stored only on your device or copies held by other services. If you email this address, your email address and any information you include become part of that correspondence. A specific retention period for support correspondence has not been established in the supplied information.

Children’s privacy

Label Designer is a general label-design tool. A specific intended age range has not been established in the supplied information. The inspected app has no registration process and does not implement developer collection of children’s personal information. Personal information entered into labels is handled as described above. Parents or guardians with privacy concerns may contact the developer.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to Label Designer or its data handling. Please review the policy accompanying the version you use for the current description of these practices.
